The Manual in Hand

Wang Cheng slaughtered his way through the beasts up ahead, while Jiu Meng stared at him in a daze.

She had already known Wang Cheng was strong. After all, he had easily slaughtered the Beast tide that had nearly killed her. But she had never imagined he could be this powerful.

The Leader, a Stellar level ninth-order beast, was defeated in a single exchange and killed outright in ten moves. The other beasts rushed forward to avenge their Leader, but they, too, were easily killed.

"Jiu Meng, are you coming over?" Wang Cheng called from a distance.

Jiu Meng panted as she looked at the giant beast sprawled before her. Relief washed over her. At least she hadn't embarrassed herself—she had successfully killed this Stellar level seventh-order opponent.

"You've mastered both water and lightning domains? That's impressive!" Wang Cheng flew over and chuckled.

"Compared to you, I'm nowhere near as good." Jiu Meng shook her head, then asked, "You must have mastered the power of quite a few laws, right?"

"I've only scratched the surface." Wang Cheng didn't deny it.

If he hadn't studied the Lightning Law on Earth, he couldn't have wielded this Fifth-order Force Weapon. That was why Oracle Marquis Senior had said he'd be surprised if Wang Cheng could unleash even a fraction of the power of these two weapons.

Only someone who had mastered a trace of the Lightning Law could activate these weapons. Anyone who could grasp a law at Stellar level was an absolute genius among geniuses.

Normally, only Domain Lords could master domains, and only World Lords could come into contact with laws!

"Still, don't get too arrogant. You have serious shortcomings, too." Oracle Marquis Lord suddenly said.

"Shortcomings?" Before Wang Cheng could react, Jiu Meng was already astonished.

She had seen with her own eyes how Wang Cheng, at First-order Stellar level, had killed Stellar level ninth-order opponents as easily as dogs. If he wasn't perfect in every way, who could do that?

"From what I can tell, your Body Force Generation is very low—not even as good as that of some Planet level fighters!" Oracle Marquis Lord asked slowly. As for the crystal ball, Oracle Marquis Lord said it contained the most important manual he had left behind. He had maintained the Sacrificial Tower in this Inheritance World for countless years, and Wang Cheng was the first to obtain it.

The manual was called Eternal Void. It was a time-based manual.

Of the Ten Great Laws, metal, wood, water, fire, earth, wind, lightning, and light were all Low-level Laws, while Time and Space were High-level Laws.
