Wang Cheng sat cross-legged on the ground. His eyes were shut, and his brow was slightly furrowed, as if he were pondering something.

In fact, Wang Cheng was recalling the battles he had fought in the Outer Realm Battlefield.

He hadn't spent long in the Outer Realm Battlefield, but three Cosmic level ninth order warriors, one Domain Lord level sixth order warrior, and one Domain Lord level second order warrior had all died at his hands!

He had even struggled to hold his own against a Domain Lord level eighth order Domain Lord.

Of those battles, the ones in which he killed the three Cosmic level ninth order warriors had hardly helped him at all, since he had killed all three instantly.

What Wang Cheng was doing now was recalling the other three battles.

Since obtaining the Oracle Marquis's inheritance, Wang Cheng had made tremendous progress. He had gone from a Stellar level warrior who had only just comprehended the Lightning Origin to a Cosmic level warrior who had mastered the four Laws of wind, lightning, time, and space. What's more, his comprehension of all four Laws was profound!

Of course, such tremendous progress was bound to conceal some problems as well.

His trip to the Outer Realm Battlefield could be called his first life-and-death battle since crossing over. Naturally, those battles had made him aware of the various problems caused by his rapid progress.

"Those battles have all shown that I lack a sure-kill move!"

Wang Cheng silently reviewed his fights. Heavenly Thunder's Fury was already quite good. With a physical foundation only slightly stronger than that of a Cosmic level eighth order warrior, it had let him fight head-on against a Domain Lord level sixth order warrior without falling behind.

This was partly because he had deeply comprehended the Lightning Law, but the power of this secret technique, Heavenly Thunder's Fury, could not be denied either.

Still, it wasn't enough!

When he had killed the two Domain Lords—one sixth order, the other second order—he had first smashed their heads, then destroyed their Life Cores.

If his attacks were powerful enough to destroy their entire bodies in one blow, why go to all that trouble?

"Also, I've mastered too many Laws. In battle, that actually makes me feel like I can't bring them to bear!" Wang Cheng frowned slightly. This was certainly a problem, but it was also something many people could only envy.

After all, not everyone could comprehend so many Laws at once in such a short time, let alone comprehend all of them so deeply!

"Should I create one myself?" The thought crossed Wang Cheng's mind, and he immediately felt eager to try.

There was no right or wrong time to create a secret manual. Take Thor: he had created the Nine Heavens Thunder Blade when he was only at the Planet level!

Of course, the Nine Heavens Thunder Blade was low-level. It only contained body force generation and the Lightning artistic conception. It hadn't even touched the threshold of a domain, let alone the Laws!

But that proved a point: no matter how weak you were, you could still create a secret manual!

With the same level of Law comprehension and a secret manual of the same level, a manual you had created yourself would obviously be more powerful—perhaps much more powerful!

He kept producing one clone after another. Soon, five thousand Stellar level first order versions of Wang Cheng stood around him.

"Just as I thought. After breaking through to the Cosmic level, the number of clones I can control perfectly has risen to five thousand!" Wang Cheng sensed the state of his five thousand clones and nodded to himself.

If things continued this way, he might be able to control all 10,081 of his clones once he became a World Lord or an Immortal.

"I'll have a thousand of these clones absorb Cosmic energy, three thousand study the Laws, and the remaining thousand start creating my own Combat Secret Methods!" Wang Cheng made up his mind.
