He had thought that once they gained minds of their own, he wouldn't need the precise control of Spirit Channeling anymore.

Controlling multiple summoned creatures at once, making them channel Spirit Force and infuse it into their attacks, would be difficult.

Besides, now that the summoned creatures had minds of their own, controlling them as they channeled Spirit Force in battle amounted to teaching them step by step. Even if they learned slowly, they would master it eventually.

For now, he could control at most four summoned creatures and have them channel Spirit Force into their attacks.
Four might not sound impressive, but any experienced Evolver who heard that would call him a monster.
Most Evolvers struggled just to channel their own energy into an attack right after advancing, let alone control summoned creatures—four of them at once!
