After learning Lightning Strike, Bai Xiaowen no longer needed even Kusanagi-Style Ancient Martial Arts when facing small numbers of monsters. After learning Lightning Strike himself, Bai Xiaowen could even control the Bone Warlock to release an energy Lightning Strike in return, making it a two-pronged attack.
Blood Thorn and the Bloodthorn Banshee took extra damage from spell attacks. When Bai Xiaowen sent out a True Essence Force: Lightning Strike, it not only shattered their protective black aura but also knocked their health values to rock bottom. The Bone Warlock could then follow up with a Spirit Force Lightning Strike to finish them off, killing them without obstruction.
The other summoned creatures instead became mere supporting characters, able only to continuously hone their combat methods for Spirit Force attacks.
In the final main tomb chamber, the Boss Tier Banshee—the Mother of Blood Thorns—also failed to pose much of a threat to the team. Seizing the right moment, Bai Xiaowen threw out a True Essence Force: Heart-Confounding Talisman. The Mother of Blood Thorns barely struggled before being bewitched and coming over to become another henchman under Bai Xiaowen.
Bai Xiaowen shared the Mother of Blood Thorns' memory fragments and attempted to learn her skills.
The Mother of Blood Thorns possessed an ability called Corrosion Mist. It transformed her body into mist, continuously corroding living beings within the mist's range. At the same time, with her physical form gone, the Mother of Blood Thorns could evade most physical attacks and skills. It could be called an excellent skill that combined offense and defense.
This was somewhat similar to the Banshee Queen's skill, Erosion Mist.
