"You have discovered an unclaimed Territory Stele." "You have temporarily gained control of this unclaimed territory." "You already possess a territory. You may choose one of the following options." "A: Transfer. Transfer control of the Territory Stele to another Evolver. If you do so, you will lose control of this Territory Stele." "B: Annex. Merge this Territory Stele with your own, with your territory as the primary one, adding new land to your territory." "C: Plunder. Destroy this territory, in effect detonating it, then extract a Spirit Vein Seed. The seed's grade is proportional to the territory's remaining resources."
Bai Xiaowen hesitated briefly.
He could rule out option A, Transfer, right away.
He had companions he trusted, but the White Phoenix Fief did not have the strength to defend two territories. Holding on to the White Phoenix Fief was hard enough for Bai Xiaowen. He could not be in two places at once.
As for options B and C, he did not fully understand them. He first asked about the Spirit Vein Seed and received a reply:
"A Spirit Vein Seed is a rare object highly concentrated with Spirit Force. Planted in a suitable earth vein, it can generate a new Spirit Crystal Vein within three months. The vein's reserves depend on the seed's grade."
Just about what I thought...
Option C, Plunder, would give his territory a Spirit Crystal Vein. It would start yielding returns in three months and provide income for years to come.
But a Spirit Crystal Vein would eventually be mined out, and the seed's grade depended on the territory's remaining resources...
