"Why?"
Bai Xiaowen frowned.
Come on, don't mess with me like that.
The witch Kelowen said, "To make a pact, you need a 'blank' Contract Tablet."
Kelowen stressed the word "blank."
"Then what about that tablet?" Bai Xiaowen pointed to the Primordial Pact Slate in Kelowen's hands.
"This slate's power already bears a pact made between the Calamity King and a group of Demon Lords," Kelowen said.

"You just said I had Divinity..."
"No, Divinity is not the same as Divine Might," Kelowen cut in. "Lord Hristos, you aren't a Chosen One, are you?"
Bai Xiaowen shook his head.
"Then you should be unable to do anything to this slate. Unless you find another blank Primordial Pact Slate, but the chances of that are vanishingly small." Kelowen sighed.
"Let me try," Bai Xiaowen said.
Bai Xiaowen picked up the Primordial Pact Slate and pressed his palm against its surface, gathering a layer of True Essence Force along the edge of his hand.
Then he swept his hand across the Contract Tablet.
With the True Essence Force coating the edge of Bai Xiaowen's hand, he could have smoothed down not just stone, but even
