Throne of Pride, inside the main hall.
"Master, these are the materials you requested. I brought everything that was among the spoils, but three kinds are still missing," Sigrdrifa said softly, standing beside a mountain-like pile of supplies.
Bai Xiaowen glanced over the list of missing materials and nodded slightly. "It's no problem. We previously looted the Calamity King's lair and seized quite a few spoils. Together with the materials we already had in reserve, it's enough to make up the difference."
Bai Xiaowen then controlled two Skeleton Champions to set up a large bronze cauldron on the eastern side of the hall and pour into it a large quantity of green demon blood collected from demon corpses.
"Master, what are you doing?" Sigrdrifa asked curiously. "Is this Alchemy?"
"This isn't Alchemy. It's Immortal Arts."
Bai Xiaowen smiled slightly. "Demon blood contains violent Fel Energy. This energy can be extracted, combined with certain supplementary ingredients, and turned into things like pills or medicinal paste."
"Immortal Arts?" Sigrdrifa had some knowledge of Chinese culture, mainly from being influenced by Bai Xiaowen, her master. She immediately asked, "But I heard that the Arcane Arts practitioners of ancient China were very formal when refining pills. They needed high-quality pill furnaces and had to select auspicious dates..."
"What you're talking about is Arcane Arts. What I use is Immortal Arts."
Bai Xiaowen smiled. "Although my attainments in the Immortal Arts branch aren't high yet, my pill refining is fundamentally different from that of Arcane Arts practitioners. I don't need to be bound by external tools. If I weren't multitasking, I wouldn't even need this cauldron."
Bai Xiaowen diverted part of his attention and injected a stream of True Essence Force. A milky white flame ignited beneath the bronze cauldron.
This flame was called Heart-Refining
