After careful observation, Bai Xiaowen discovered a pattern in the distribution of the distant planets.

They were divided into groups of three to five, or sometimes more than a dozen. The planets within each group were unusually close together, forming a small cluster.

The distance between one cluster and another was much greater.

In that case, choosing a cluster with only three to five planets should be safer, Bai Xiaowen thought.

What worried Bai Xiaowen most was a direct collision between two planets. If he had the bad luck to be near the point of impact, there would be almost no escape. The force generated as the planets drew together and accelerated toward each other would likely dwarf even a clash between gods. The shock waves alone could easily kill a Divine-Blooded Creature.

Bai Xiaowen had never witnessed a planetary collision, but simulating one with his Super Brain was terrifying enough. He had no desire to test the accuracy of that simulation firsthand.

Once he had made his choice, Bai Xiaowen activated the remaining energy in his ticket.

Light flashed, and a sensation of weightlessness swept over him.

A few minutes later, gravity returned. Bai Xiaowen opened his eyes. He had landed on the surface of his chosen planet.

A vast, desolate landscape stretched before him. It was like landing on Mars: dark red hills and impact craters everywhere.

An acidic smell hung in the air, a clear sign that it was poisonous. Fortunately, Evolvers could breathe internally through their energy circulation. What surprised Bai Xiaowen was the scarcity of spiritual energy on the planet's surface. It reminded him of Earth in the Common Era, when spiritual energy had been depleted.

Such a low concentration of spiritual energy would slow an Evolver's recovery of Spirit Force. That left Spirit Crystals
