Bai Xiaowen had also assessed the Scripture of the Grand Void.
"As a cultivation manual rooted in China, the Scripture of the Grand Void seems very different from other manuals. It doesn't fit with the larger workings of the Star Alliance, or even the universe."
As he had reached the level of a High-tier Evolver, gradually entered the world of the Chosen Ones, and now become involved in the gods' struggle, Bai Xiaowen had felt that mismatch more and more keenly.
Put simply, each god held Law Authority over a particular domain. The Sea God's was presumably the ocean, the Winter God's was cold, and the Fire God's was flame. The Shadow God ruled shadow space, the God of Truth leaned toward knowledge, and the Death God commanded the undead.

The Elves associated with the Elven God were likewise a species rooted in Western fantasy.

Ever since Bai Xiaowen had begun practicing the Scripture of the Grand Void, he had never figured out what kind of god its path would lead him to become.
From his earlier Nascent Soul stage to his current Soul Projection stage, every step resembled a realm of cultivation unique to ancient China. Did that mean the Scripture of the Grand Void would ultimately lead to surviving
