After deliberately suppressing their Psychic Fields, Bai Xiaowen and the others' Psionic Particle fluctuations dropped to the level of a Standard Template. They could not fight in that state, though, or the fluctuations would flare up again.

The disguises they had received upon entering the Black Tide Plane were ordinary civilian clothes. With their weapons put away, they looked like regular passengers aboard the ship.

The second kind, who knew when to yield, were spared a blow to the head, but they were bound with sharkskin ropes. Bai Xiaowen tested the ropes and promptly received a notice: with a base Strength below 50, he could not break free, though someone else could remove them.

The Wogata Tribe's slave warriors used Magic Conches to blow bubbles over the faces of both kinds of prisoners.

Bai Xiaowen quietly checked his status. The Bubble Shield was actually an Underwater Breathing Spell that let land creatures, including humans, breathe underwater.

That was why Bai Xiaowen had told his teammates to stop resisting. The Wogata Tribe's raiders were after people as well as cargo. Unless they had to, they would not kill their captives; they meant to take as many living people as possible back to their tribe as slaves.

The raid ended after just half an hour. The Advance sank to the seabed, while the Wogata Tribe's giant-serpent warship dove with its hold full of goods and captives. The assault boats kept roaming the sea in search of their next target.
