Opening Treasure Chests

"Come on, come on! Time to open the chests!" Li Shuyi cried excitedly.

The five members of the White Phoenix Team, including Cecilia, sat around a large felt rug. Treasure chests of every color were piled into a small mountain before them.

Wogata Territory had the military strength of a large city-state, and the White Phoenix Team had wiped it out in one fell swoop. The rewards were naturally immense.

The Psionic Points from slain enemies alone exceeded seventy thousand. And that was before counting the bosses' Golden Treasure Chests, which were even more exciting.

For Bai Xiaowen, Rageclaw had also grown considerably in this battle. Three bosses had allowed him to meet Well-Trained's requirement of dealing 40% of the damage: the snakefolk general Deke, the Frost Prayer Napa, and the war priest Naitu lu.

Rageclaw had managed that 40% against Naitu lu entirely by sneaking in damage while the war priest hesitated to strike with lethal force. Bai Xiaowen's gamble had paid off handsomely: Naitu lu, a level 10 Rare Boss, had given Rageclaw three points of base Strength!

Together with one point of Strength from General Deke and two points of Spirit from Napa, Rageclaw had gained four base Strength and two base Spirit in this battle.

More importantly, those were base attributes! That meant the gains would be amplified further by the bonuses from Bai Xiaowen's Spirit Channeling class.

The only regret was that Rageclaw's most important attribute, Agility, had not improved. But he couldn't have everything. The battlefield had given Rageclaw no chance to slowly rack up damage against an Agility-focused boss.

His teammates first opened the pile of chests dropped by ordinary and elite enemies. Most had E-Tier ratings and only a 33.33% chance of yielding anything. They opened them mostly for
