Bai Xiaowen forced Morioka Yoshihito to gather dangerous supplies in exchange for help against Matsuzaki-gumi. When Matsuzaki-gumi launched its final assault, Bai and his allies joined the battle, leaving Watanabe Yoshihiro and Asanuma Kiba fighting them inside the Morioka Group headquarters.

• Bai Xiaowen told Morioka Yoshihito he would help defeat Matsuzaki-gumi if the Morioka Group gathered every item on his list before eight that evening.
• Matsuzaki-gumi launched its final assault at ten, and its members fought through the Morioka Group's defenses with heavy gunfire.
• Watanabe Yoshihiro and Asanuma Kiba led the assault, breaking into the headquarters and cutting down Morioka Group members.
• Bai Xiaowen shot Watanabe Yoshihiro while his Skeleton Sword-and-Shield Soldiers blocked return fire.

Police stopped their car on suspicion of carrying narcotics, leaving Kyo, Daimon Goro, Nikaido Benimaru, and Sakamoto Jiho facing an inspection.

• Kyo Kusanagi, Daimon Goro, and Nikaido Benimaru continued searching for the Kusanagi Family's important retainers while warning against splitting up because Shirai Masaru might target them.
• A guard told Kyo Kusanagi that Sakamoto Jiho had called with an address and was being watched, so Kyo drove there with Daimon Goro and Nikaido Benimaru.

Bai revealed and crushed a damaged Crystal of Death, triggering Orochi’s power in Iori and leaving the battle on the verge of spiraling out of control.

• Bai Xiaowen used Intimidation to escape Kyo Kusanagi, rejoined Li Shuyi, and drank rice wine to restore his mental energy.
• Li Shuyi and the M4 Cyborgs surrounded Kyo Kusanagi again, but Iori Yagami arrived and blasted one cyborg away with purple flames.
• Bai Xiaowen explained that Iori’s arrival was one of the punitive consequences he had anticipated and told Li Shuyi to keep attacking Kyo while he faced Iori.

Bai Xiaowen delivered Kyo Kusanagi to NESTS and received the Gene Enhancement Serum, but Dr. Makihara then tried to have him and Li Shuyi brainwashed. Bai Xiaowen’s hidden Shadow Assassin killed Makihara, leaving Foxy surrounded by cyborg warriors obeying Bai Xiaowen’s authority.

• Crazy Iori Yagami chased the RV, but Dr. Makihara sent four cyborg warriors to delay him while the RV escaped.
• At the NESTS Southern Island Branch, Dr. Makihara handed Bai Xiaowen the Gene Enhancement Serum after Kyo Kusanagi was captured, completing Bai Xiaowen’s side quest.
• Dr. Makihara surrounded Bai Xiaowen and Li Shuyi with six cyborg warriors and revealed his plan to brainwash them and claim their blood.
