To have come this far, I wanted to thank my editor, Peigen, and the readers who had always supported me.
It was Peigen who fished my book out from among countless works.
It was the many readers who supported me that gave me the drive to make it this far.
I was actually a newcomer, and this was my first book.
A book was a world. My abilities were limited, and there were inevitably places where I had not thought things through while writing. I could not construct a flawless, perfect world.
Along the way, I had received many suggestions and complaints.
Although I did not always reply to readers' suggestions and reminders, I had been quietly fine-tuning and revising whatever I could improve.
With the help of so many readers, I had continued to grow and gradually improve some of this book's shortcomings.
Likewise, I had received some complaints. But I had not argued back, because there truly were quite a few flaws in the book. I knew my own limits, would learn from them, and try my best to avoid them in the future.
But a small number of readers enjoyed hurling insults, even escalating to personal attacks.
Many times, those insulting negative reviews had affected me greatly, and I had once wanted to give up.
But with most readers silently reading and supporting me, silently voting for me, I had persisted step by step.
My book could not possibly be liked by everyone. Having all of you was enough for me.
So I was extremely grateful to the readers who had supported me all this time and read this far.
Going forward, I hoped everyone could continue supporting me and offer me some suggestions.
