Amasawa Ichika had clearly heard them.
From the moment Kazehara Tetsu and Horikita Suzune sat down through their conversation about the Student Council and being followed, Amasawa Ichika had been sitting close enough to listen. Amasawa Ichika drew out her words. "I came here for milk tea, and you two came here for drinks too. We happened to be in the same place at the same time. That's fate, not stalking."

"Fate made you spend all that time drinking your milk tea and still have more than half left?"

Amasawa Ichika opened her mouth, but he had torn her whole "chance encounter" story apart, one sentence at a time.
She glared at Kazehara Tetsu for a while, then simply gave up pretending and leaned against the table.
"Say whatever you want. We just happened to run into each other."
"Sure. A chance encounter."
