Kamuro is blunt and confrontational toward Konoe Hirakawa. At their first meeting, she accuses him of sneaking around and rebukes him for trying to leave before Sakayanagi has finished speaking. Later, when he complains about her manner as a host, she pointedly reminds him that Sakayanagi—not she—invited him 29 46.
Although she follows Sakayanagi’s instructions, she does not accept all of her judgments without question. She openly doubts whether Konoe is as impressive as Sakayanagi believes, then regrets speaking out when Sakayanagi assigns her to follow him. Her concern for Sakayanagi is more personal than these errands: she questions whether Sakayanagi can safely eat the seafood served at lunch 29 47.

When Konoe concedes a chess game and abruptly attempts to leave, Kamuro blocks the doorway at Sakayanagi’s command. She lets him pass after he proposes a formal rematch with each player staking 200,000 points and Sakayanagi agrees 47.
