After the last two people entered Earl Hall's private study, everyone signed the contract without any resistance. After all, they had already discussed everything beforehand, and if anyone objected now, they would only upset everyone.

The contract clearly stipulated that no shareholder in Rheinmetall could sell their shares without permission. Anyone wishing to sell had to give advance notice, and the other shareholders had absolute priority to buy them.

Altair Sheffield invested his technology and a steel mill, taking a 31% stake. Leif Strauss invested three factories and a hundred acres of industrial land, taking a 15% stake. Karel Duarte invested three factories and took a 10% stake. Owen Donovan... took a 10% stake. Hether Grant represented the Sanguine and... took a 10% stake. Hall... took a 7% stake... took a 10% stake... took a 5% stake. Hahn Clayton... took a 2% stake.

Since Hahn hadn't come today, Altair would take his copy of the document back to him. Once he had signed it, they could simply submit it to the authorities for filing.

Earl Hall called over a servant waiting outside and had them bring in the corresponding number of champagne bottles. They all had a glass together, chatted briefly, then gradually began to leave.

After all, the banquet was still underway outside, and Earl Hall, as the host, couldn't stay in his private study the whole time. Without him, no one else felt comfortable lingering, so they simply left.

After leaving the study, Altair didn't go back to the hall with Uncle Leif. Instead, he waited a while for the Owen couple.

Altair still wanted to help Madame Anna. When the two came out, he went up to them, explained Madame Anna's situation, and said he wanted to help her.

Hether, who was holding Owen's arm, flatly refused.
