In the lounge, Tennoji Kaede closed Shiina Hiyori's red book, his heart full of emotion.
He looked at Hiyori and asked curiously, "Hiyori, when did you start recording all this special information?"
The first half of the red book was much like a diary, recording Hiyori's thoughts on her studies and life during the First Semester, including her impressions of Gao and its many policies;
But the second half was quite different. It listed the personal strengths of every student in Class C, as well as some students from other classes.

Hiyori pressed her hands together and recalled, "I've been keeping notes ever since I enrolled... I've liked recording beautiful things since I was little~ The experiences I've had at this school haven't all been wonderful, but I still want to seek out the good in them."
"Now I'm sure this book will be useful to Kaede. I suppose it's one of the few little things I can do for you."
Kaede was grateful. "Please don't say that! It's not easy to notice other people's strengths. You've done a wonderful job!"
Hiyori's delight showed plainly on her face as she happily clasped her hands together.
