Green Lotus Core Flame

The magma was a sea of fiery red.

However, with the protection of his Dou Qi barrier, Lin Feng could barely make out some of his surroundings.

His gaze swept around before he swiftly swam forward.

He hurried after the Fire Spirit Snake, which was slowly burrowing deeper into the magma as it waited for him.

Before them lay this fiery-red underground world of magma.

Looking at the source of the light, Lin Feng wiped away his sweat and smiled. "Looks like we're almost there."

Hearing Lin Feng's voice, Lü Man curiously looked toward the curtain of light.

Though she was a Dou Huang expert, this was still her first time seeing a Heavenly Flame.

Before long, green light enveloped this stretch of magma.

When they reached a spot not far from the light curtain, the two steadied themselves and looked over, faintly making out.

Within the green radiance, a Green Lotus stood quietly, its form indistinct.

Staring at the faintly visible Green Lotus, Lü Man turned to Lin Feng and asked curiously.

She knew there were twenty-three types of Heavenly Flames, but she did not know their specific details.

Lin Feng explained, "Judging by that Green Lotus, it is the Green Lotus Core Flame. It ranks nineteenth on the Heavenly Flame Ranking. It is born deep within the earth, tempered, fused, compressed, and shaped by the earth's fire countless times... It gains sentience in ten years, takes form in a hundred years, and becomes a lotus in a thousand years. At maturity, its color tends toward green, and a cluster of green flame is born within its lotus heart. It is called Green Lotus Flame, also known as the Green Lotus Core Flame."

"So it's the fifth from last among the Heavenly Flames. No wonder I sensed that it only seems to possess the strength of an early-stage Dou Huang."

Looking below, Lü Man thought of her own strength as a six-star Dou Huang and curled her lips.

Hearing the disdain in Lü Man's words, Lin Feng immediately realized that she knew very little about Heavenly Flames.

He hurriedly warned her, "Senior, you must not underestimate it. In an environment like this, the Green Lotus Core Flame can continuously absorb energy from the magma. Below the Green Lotus was an extremely slender root stalk, more than ten meters long.

The stalk was densely covered in tiny tendrils.

As those tendrils swayed, Lin Feng and Lü Man could clearly feel.

They were madly absorbing the berserk fire-element energy from the surrounding magma in an almost greedy manner.

And this Green Lotus simply floated within the endless magma.

Like duckweed adrift upon the sea, it wandered everywhere.
