A pile of scattered gun parts was quickly collected and sent to the Police Department's logistics division.
"There's nothing wrong with any of these gun parts!" The experts examined the components one by one and found that their metal strength and dimensions were no different from those of ordinary firearms.
But they simply could not be used!
They could not even be assembled!
Nor could these parts be installed in normal guns, and bullets could not be loaded into magazines. If forced in, even a normal gun would malfunction!
"This is astounding. I can hardly believe something like this exists in this world. Oh my God, what exactly did you do to these guns? It's as if their original function as firearms has died!" The balding expert looked curiously at Gerson.
"We stopped a woman. She claimed to be some kind of Goddess of the Hunt?" Gerson thought for a moment, then nodded with certainty. "That's right, the Goddess of the Hunt!"
"Artemis?" the expert asked.
"I don't know. She didn't give her name!" Gerson replied.
The expert nodded and was about to continue his research when a middle-aged man with about as much hair as he had walked in, followed by two young men in suits and sunglasses.
"We'll be taking over this matter from now on!" The middle-aged man pulled out his identification and flashed it.
"How could I possibly hand them over to you? This is a historic discovery! If I can figure out the reason, I might even win a Nobel Prize!" The expert hugged the parts tightly. They were his future!
"Don't be like that, sir. Even if these parts were handed over for research, it wouldn't fall to a... " The middle-aged man bent down to inspect the badge on the expert's chest. "Firearms
