Primordial Ice was a Chaos Being who predated the Great Dao, an ancient existence it had sealed away with its own hands. He had no reason to lie.
"Was I the one Pangu was waiting for?" Xuandu asked calmly.
Primordial Ice fell silent for a moment before slowly answering, "He was waiting for someone who could break the stalemate."
