Chapter 49: A Word or Two About Going on Sale!

The editor notified me that Lord of Strange Immortals will be going on sale tomorrow. Well, the public period is over.

I'll post another free chapter later, and after that, it should be VIP chapters.

First, I want to thank all my readers, then my editors Shuimò and Tòumíng, and all the author friends I bothered for advice when I was starting Lord of Strange Immortals.

This book is actually because I didn't get my fill of Chángshēng. I wanted to try a different worldview and setting, and write this kind of strange tales and eerie style again. There will also be some content about an ancient demon containment foundation. It's basically me satisfying my own cravings.

It's very likely to be a long novel. Important note: There will be no revolution. Where would I even write about that in the Late Yuan and Early Ming period? (Too many readers asked, so I'm saying this in advance.)

Let's talk about updates. The old me might have gotten all fired up and shouted about explosive updates.

But my health hasn't been great this past year. I've been dealing with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and medication. I've also seen too many of my fellow authors struggling with their health. Plus, every time I've overpromised and pushed myself, I've failed. So, I've decided to take things as they come.

I'll do my best to write. If I'm feeling good, I'll update more. If not, I'll write as much as I can.

Either way, it'll be a slow and steady flow. The story is in my head, and it will come out eventually.
