As I put pen to paper today.

It suddenly struck me that hardly anyone on Qidian writes a Sanjiang reflection anymore.

There was a time when authors had to write two or three million words and spend two years working before they could knock on Sanjiang's door and claim the highest honor of the new-book period.

So every time, we had a lot to say.

But these days, as authors restart with new books more and more often, many fast typists with plenty of inspiration can get one of their accounts onto Sanjiang several times a year. Naturally, it doesn't feel like much of an occasion to them anymore.

I remember that the last time San Jin set foot in Sanjiang territory was four years ago.

Time really flew. To reach this point again fills me with emotion!

1. Why does this book call itself a wasteland novel, yet focus on power struggles during its free chapters?

The reason is simple.

Mainly because the author has grown tired of the usual wasteland novels on the market. From the beginning, the protagonist just steamrolls everything, with the world crudely set up as:

Humans versus the Infected. Two opposing sides.

The protagonist's goal is as straightforward as it gets: kill all the Infected and rebuild civilization.

The growth arc is an endless cycle of "kill, kill, kill; level up, level up, level up," with the protagonist's power rising all the way to "one person equals one
