I posted my Sanjiang note just yesterday, and today we've already reached the premium launch. The schedule really is packed.
It's been just 27 days since I started this book, a shorter writing period than many other works released around the same time.
Fortunately, I kept up a pace of 7,000 words a day during the free period, bringing the total to a nice, round 200,000 words.
The book goes premium at midnight. There may be a delay of a few minutes.
On the first day, I'll be posting a burst of updates: ten chapters.
I did a rough estimate, and it should come to around 40,000 words—equivalent to twenty 2,000-word chapters.
(The author's doing the usual poverty act.)
(. . . Skipped.)
Actually, I already covered the things that needed saying in my Sanjiang note.
So I won't repeat myself here.
Thank you to every one of my dear readers for your support. Next, I'll focus on the update schedule after the book goes premium.
This book is completely different from my last one.
My previous book rode the wave of the global genre. I wrote it without really knowing what I was doing, and everything went smoothly; it made it to Sanjiang and got almost every recommendation Qidian had to offer.
Back then, I wrote entirely by feel. When I was in good form, I could write 20,000 words in a day; when I was in a slump, I couldn't even squeeze out a thousand.
With this book, I thought that as my writing improved, I'd be able to update faster and more consistently. The exact opposite happened.
I'm stricter about the plot now, so I often write a few thousand words, delete them, and start over. Before the book even went premium, I'd already rewritten nearly 30,000
