Unlike the Mainland, freedom of speech was much greater on Japan Island, and people there basically kept up with the times.

A great many of Chu Yu's works had become hits there, but in reality, a considerable number of fans of his works still had no idea that Shui Xin was his pen name!

Taking advantage of this, some TV stations on Japan Island had put together a special program introducing Shui Xin's works, which had been active there lately, as well as his career so far.

The influence of a program that specifically kept up with the 2D world was far greater than Nakamura Ryu's.

They'd even invited some senior figures from the Japan Island Animation Industry as guests to comment on Shui Xin.

The whole program was one long stream of praise for Chu Yu: the savior of the new century's Animation Industry, the young creator in the Animation Industry closest to becoming a god...

Chu Yu had watched for a few minutes before turning off the TV. It was too embarrassing... Did the Japanese have to exaggerate so much?

If they talked him up like this on the Mainland internet, it'd be like painting a target on his back! He'd gain a hundred thousand haters overnight. But that was just how things were done here!

Su Ruo and Zhao Qinyin, though, were watching with great interest. After snatching the remote, they kept watching.

"What are you two even watching this for?" Chu Yu asked, speechless.

"It's just that it feels pretty satisfying to see you become a big hit with the people of Japan Island. No matter what, we're your close friends. We can brag about being friends with Shui Xin whenever we go out, and get a little boost to our vanity!" Su Ruo said with
