Background / History

Huang Ming was an animation producer at Nine Stars Animation when editor Li Xi brought him Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, a 22-chapter manuscript by Shui Xin. Although Nine Stars’ leadership had requested a script with elements similar to Moon of Vows, Huang Ming set aside his initial doubts and read the work in full due to Li Xi’s confidence.
