Thoughts

Chu Yu had been in terrible shape all night. He'd drifted off to sleep, only to wake up again for no apparent reason before long.

He'd even had a dream. In it, he was being chased by three tigresses. No matter how hard he ran, he couldn't outrun them. When they caught up, he thought he was going to die—until he realized he'd turned into a tiger too. But he was scrawny, helpless, pitiful, and trembling with fear.

Beep, beep, beep!

The alarm on his phone woke Chu Yu from his nightmare!

He got up, brushed his teeth, and washed his face as usual, but somehow everything felt completely different from before!

"Hey, morning!"

Chu Yu had already gotten up pretty early, but it was only six thirty!

At the dining table, Zhao Qinyin and Su Ruo were already arranging the takeout breakfast they'd ordered!

The atmosphere was unbearably awkward!

Of course, that was only for Chu Yu. The two women across from him looked completely normal, as if they hadn't remembered what happened last night.

In fact, all three of them were nervous, each in their own way. Zhao Qinyin had suddenly worked up the nerve to make a bold move. Su Ruo had found courage thanks to Zhao Qinyin. Chu Yu, meanwhile, was completely bewildered!

Both women regretted their impulsiveness last night, while Chu Yu regretted ever going out to celebrate Halloween with them!

"It was all right." Chu Yu jolted.
