The next day, Su Ruo shook Chu Yu awake!

"It's only a little past six. It's still early!" Chu Yu checked the time, then immediately flopped back down.

"Don't go back to sleep. Get up a little earlier, stretch your legs nearby, and have breakfast. Every time you go to the company, you arrive with barely two minutes to spare!" Su Ruo yanked off his blanket and turned on all the lights in the room.

The air conditioner had run all night, so the room wasn't cold, but light was Chu Yu's mortal enemy when he was trying to sleep. He could sleep right through rain and thunder, but even the slightest bit of light kept him awake.

Su Ruo sat on the edge of the bed. She'd showered and dried her hair, though it was still a little damp. She'd planned ahead and brought a change of clothes, and now she wore a dress that clung to her figure!

Chu Yu had no choice. He got up, showered, and changed into the clothes she'd prepared. Then he stepped out of the hotel, yawning.

"Come on! I heard there's a famous breakfast place nearby. There's a line every morning. Since we got up so early today, let's go try it!" Su Ruo said excitedly.

"Listen, it's a five-minute drive from here to the company, and only a twenty-minute walk. You sacrificed two hours of sleep just to eat ramen? Wouldn't ordering takeout be better?" Chu Yu grumbled as Su Ruo led him along by the hand.

"That's exactly the problem with you! You're such a blockhead. Don't you think going to a breakfast place with a pretty, gentle girl like me and eating something fresh out of the kitchen is more fun than getting takeout?"
