It was that familiar time of year again, the final quarter of the year!
As was customary, companies like Tianxing would announce their plans for the coming year in advance, giving the market some idea of what to expect.
Generally, though, those decisions wouldn't be made for another month or two!
But this year, it was obvious that Tianxing was moving early. Two highly anticipated works in the animation and film markets had been brutally trounced—and by the same company, no less. To restore confidence in the market, it had decided to act ahead of schedule.
Then, on October 1, Tianxing announced its plans on its official website.
Six works.
One was an adaptation of Starry Sky, the popular light novel by Lu Shu that had sold over ten million copies across Dragon Country. Another was Dragon Might, a different-world manga by veteran Dragon Country comic artist Tang Zhuxing, which had been running for three years and sold over 3.5 million copies per volume.
There was also Imbalance, an original fantasy animation by the popular animation screenwriter Zhong Yuan, and Dream. Summer, an original fantasy animation by Yi Xia, another well-known screenwriter in the Dragon Country Animation Industry.
With these four, you could say that—setting aside freaks like Zhao Qinyin and Shui Xin—they were unquestionably among the top novelists, manga artists, and original animation writers in Dragon Country over the past few years.
In terms of past achievements, their previous novels, manga, and original animations had all included works with an Average Playback Volume Per Episode of over ten million!
As for their standing in the Animation Industry, they might not have been as seasoned as Zhao Yongbai or Jiang Qi, since they were all younger and under forty, but nobody doubted their ability!
