Attack on Titan?
The name was quite distinctive. Mentioning giants made it hard for anyone present not to think of the famous eighteenth-century novel Gulliver's Travels and its adventures in the land of giants.
But in terms of the actual content, they were worlds apart.
At least, when the dozen or so core members of the new team received the photocopies of the script Chu Yu had handed them, they were as bewildered as Huang Ming had been the night before, even though the script only covered the first few episodes.
Even in the Parallel World, Attack on Titan could be said to be a work that took the man-eating element to the extreme! Of course, the manga Parasyte had also been quite popular before it, but nowhere near as popular as Attack on Titan. And although Tokyo Ghoul was dazzling at the start, it had a rather disappointing ending, so it was still nowhere near as popular as Attack on Titan!
And in Dragon Country, hardly anyone had any memory of works like Attack on Titan.
But Shui Xin had always been known as a creator who pioneered new kinds of anime. Ever since Madoka Magica a few years ago, whenever Dragon Country had an anime with a Magical Girl Theme, 2D fans knew it was bound to be another Magical Girl Theme that wasn't what it seemed!
So although they found it a little unsettling, it was still within their range of acceptance. But the excitement that followed was something none of them had ever experienced before.
They quickly read through the few episodes. The intense anticipation for what came next told them just how good the work really was.
As expected of Shui Xin!
Seeing Chu Yu sitting at the head of the conference table, playing with
