It Wasn't Going to End That Soon

I couldn't describe too much of the fight scene. I couldn't exactly write, "He stabbed once, then stabbed again."

Xiang Kong couldn't use skills in battle. He knew Heathcliff was familiar with every skill's strengths and weaknesses. Heathcliff was the kind of fighter who focused on defense, then waited for the chance to strike a fatal blow—and Xiang Kong's attacks were fierce.

With no skills, one side attacking with everything he had and the other defending with everything he had—that was all there was to it.

For now, it wasn't going to end that soon.

Honestly, when I first started this novel, I really did plan to write all the way to the hundredth floor.

And then, well, you all know what I'm like. My principles are like a dead rat in a gutter. Sigh, it's all tears if I say too much. I wrote 500,000 words over the course of a year, about 210 chapters. Just think about that—there are 365 days in a year, and I only managed 210 chapters!!!! Please call me the King of Dropped Updates!

Ahem, back to the point.

Writing all the way to the hundredth floor like this—good heavens, just thinking about it feels like a horror movie.

As I've said before, circumstances forced me to spend less time on my novel. That's why I wanted to finish it sooner.

Actually, I wanted to write a crossover for my third novel, but unfortunately, I don't really want to start a third one. It would mean taking on a new responsibility, which would be somewhat painful for me.
