Kamuro's Parents Agreed Without Hesitation

Upon receiving the news, the two elders—Kamuro's parents—heard that their daughter had returned and immediately stopped their experiments. Still wearing their lab coats, they removed their surgical-grade protective gloves and masks before walking out of the laboratory.

Akasaka and Kamuro sat in the hall, waiting patiently.

Before long, the two elders arrived.

They were still wearing their lab coats and had not taken them off.

Akasaka and Kamuro both stood up and called out at the same time, "dad, Mom."

Kamuro's parents merely nodded lightly. They did not seem restrained just because Akasaka was Japan's prime minister.

Kamuro's mother rushed over and hugged her daughter tightly. "I missed you so much, Mao~"

Kamuro Mao could barely breathe from the hug. She gently patted her mother's back, not daring to use too much force. "Mom~, let go already! You're squeezing me so tight!"

"Oh, oh, oh!" Kamuro's mother released her.

This mother of hers... seemed a little airheaded.

Kamuro's father had spent years conducting experiments in the laboratory, and his eyesight was slightly poor. Wearing rimless crystal glasses, he pushed them up with a finger to straighten them, then carefully studied the daughter before him and caught a faint scent of alcohol.
