It Was Hasebe's Turn

Watching the two leave, Ibuki Mio's mother rested one hand against her cheek, seeming somewhat nostalgic.

"When we went to register our marriage when we were young, we were just as clumsy."

Ibuki Mio's father picked up some rice from his bowl with his chopsticks, put it into his mouth, and chewed with his eyes closed. "Hmph! He's just an immature brat... Another bowl, honey."

Ibuki Mio's father handed over his empty bowl.

Ibuki Mio's mother accepted it helplessly and filled it with rice again.

Not long after, the two returned with their marriage certificate and announced that they would be leaving.

Ibuki Mio needed to return to school to study.

Akasaka needed to return and continue handling government affairs as Japan's Prime Minister.

Both of them were busy—extremely busy, in fact.

Ibuki Mio's grades were not very good. If she relaxed even a little, she might fail to graduate.

Fortunately, their class had Yukinoshita, Shiina Hiyori, the genius girls Furuhashi Fumino and Ogata Rizu.

With those four brilliant girls in their delinquent Class D, whenever they did not understand something, they could ask the four top students for help.

Even now, Ibuki Mio could not figure out why those four top students had ended up in a class full of delinquents like theirs. It simply made no sense.

Of course, simple-minded Ibuki Mio could not make sense of it.

It had been purely an accident.

Because of Akasaka's interference, the school administration and teachers of every class had been forced to bring in outside help.

That was because Akasaka Ryunosuke had already shown himself to be overwhelmingly forceful back then.

It had felt as though he alone ruled the entire school.

If no one could keep him in check, he might really have become the king of the school.
