Ordinarily, he would not have been able to see that hole from Floor 55, since Akasaka had acted on Floor 56. Thus, the floors below Floor 56 could not see it.
But the news was simply too shocking. In less than a day, it had reached the ears of the Knights of the Blood's leader.
Heathcliff let out a soft sigh. After learning the full sequence of events, he began investigating the matter. Who had done it?
Akasaka had acted alone in secret at night, and it had been ten o'clock. Everyone was already asleep by then, so no one had seen him.
