The Obelisk the Tormentor Miko Yotsuya saw was a phantom with no physical form, so it passed straight through the walls.
As everyone knew, schools had a limited height. They certainly were not five hundred meters tall, so she could not see Obelisk the Tormentor in its entirety. Even so, it was frightening enough.
Obelisk the Tormentor lowered his head, seemingly noticing a girl looking at him. After thinking for a moment, he actually opened his huge mouth and let out a roar. It was simply a normal greeting, roughly meaning, "Hello."
But the roar scared Miko Yotsuya out of her wits. She fainted on the spot, falling backward, her head about to smash against the marble floor.
Akasaka hurriedly caught her with one hand, keeping Miko Yotsuya's head from hitting the ground.
But when Akasaka caught her by the waist, physical contact was unavoidable. Then he felt his pants get wet, dampened by the girl, and his face immediately darkened.
What sin had he committed? This girl had given him a strange look, then fainted from fright. What kind of nonsense was this?
Akasaka was even somewhat disgusted and wanted to toss the girl aside. But after thinking about it, if she had truly fainted because he scared her, then he seemed to bear some responsibility too...

After all, he could not exactly carry this girl out in the open. It would attract far too much attention.
