Betkas had just flown above a Namek village. Looking down at the lifeless settlement below, he frowned in confusion.

He had sensed several ki signatures here earlier, but then Ginyu had appeared and kept him entertained for a while. Now that he had followed his earlier impression back here, he suddenly discovered that the place was completely empty. There were still some buildings, of course, but no people.

Betkas frowned, thinking of an "unreliable" possibility with some suspicion.

"Forget it. I should hurry over there. I refuse to believe it's endless assimilation. There really aren't many combat-type Namekians..."

Betkas stubbornly refused to believe it. Then he shot off at high speed toward the place where the Namekians' ki signatures were concentrated.
