An Easy Kill!

Vegeta had just wiped out the residents of a village when he suddenly spotted a shining orb in the distant sky. His brow furrowed slightly, and he shifted his gaze. Hmm?! That direction... it should be that guy, Betkas. He actually used that move? Did he run into a powerful enemy he couldn't handle?

Vegeta knew Betkas's strength well. He could use the move that created that glowing orb, too. It was their trump card for staying alive. Nappa was the only one who couldn't use it yet. And if Betkas had resorted to it, that meant he'd run into an enemy he couldn't overcome. The thought weighed on Vegeta's mind. "Looks like this planet isn't so simple after all. I'd better be careful, too." Then he stopped worrying about what was happening to Betkas and went back to killing his own enemies.

Meanwhile... Betkas gazed at the elderly Chicks Alien with a pained, mocking smile. Seeing that expression, the Chicks Alien suddenly felt a sense of dread. But Betkas had already lost the ability to fight, and the old man couldn't figure out what was going on...

He suddenly remembered the glowing orb from earlier. His brow furrowed, and he looked behind him... Then he was struck with horror. "Could it be?!" The elderly Chicks Alien had seen a great deal in his time. Stories of the Saiyans were well known throughout the universe, though mostly for their infamy. Saiyans had a tremendously powerful form: the Great Ape Transformation!

However, since this planet had no moon, the elderly Chicks Alien hadn't given it any thought at first. But seeing Betkas in that state and recalling the orb, he immediately understood. He turned to look at Betkas—and saw that Betkas had already begun to transform.

His small body began to swell, as if something were about to burst out from within. His tiny arms grew thick and powerful, while his face twisted into a fearsome expression. Black fur sprouted all over his body, densely covering his skin. His veins bulged, as if they might burst. But since he wore Saiyan Battle Armor, his clothes didn't tear. Blood continued to flow from the wound in his chest, but Betkas had no time to care as he transformed...

"Roar!!!"

In an instant, Betkas's body grew enormously. He became a gigantic ape, dozens of meters tall, still wearing his clothes.

The elderly Chicks Alien stared at the Great Ape before him, his face deathly pale. "How could this be?!"

Instead, Betkas's playful voice emerged from the Great Ape's enormous mouth. "Old man... You were having a damn good time earlier, weren't you? Now it's my turn." Enduring the pain in his chest, he raised his massive right fist and swung it at the elderly Chicks Alien. What was shocking was that, despite his vastly larger body, Betkas had become even faster.

The elderly Chicks Alien was stunned for just a moment before Betkas's enormous fist struck him. One blow sent him flying into the ground, leaving a deep crater where he landed.

"Bam!"

Betkas pushed off the ground with both feet and leaped into the air, his towering body soaring upward. He opened his mouth, and a Ki Blast suddenly shot out, aimed at the spot where the Chicks Alien had fallen.

"Boom!!"

It struck its target in an instant, triggering an explosion more powerful than any of the earlier ones. Thick smoke billowed out, and sand and stones whirled through the air...

Betkas landed again. The moment his massive body touched the ground, the impact shook the earth. He fixed his gaze on the smoke ahead, his blood-red eyes sharp and fierce...

"Cough... cough!!"

Suddenly, a broken cough came from within the smoke. It sounded like labored breathing, illness, or injury. When the smoke finally cleared, Betkas saw the state the elderly Chicks Alien was in...

The old Chicks Alien had lost his earlier composure. Yellowish blood ran down his head, and his right arm and leg had disappeared completely. Supported only by his left hand and foot, he raised his head and stared at the Great Ape Betkas with a remorseful expression...

Betkas strode forward, then looked down at the elderly Chicks Alien and sneered. "You don't need to doubt yourself or feel guilty. As a Saiyan prince, I don't lose my mind when I undergo the Great Ape Transformation. Heh. Besides, a Saiyan in Great Ape form has ten times his usual strength. You're no match for me now. No... the whole planet is full of people who aren't a match for me."

The elderly Chicks Alien endured the excruciating pain and managed to raise his head. His expression was calm, but his words came in broken gasps. "Hmph! Even. Though. You. Dodged. My. Vital. Blow... if. You. Don't. Get. Back. And. Treat. Your. Wounds. Immediately... you. Won't. Live. Much. Longer. Invader! And... I'm. Not. The. Only. One. On. This. Planet... with. This. Kind. Of. Strength!"

Betkas laughed inwardly, but kept his expression calm. That calmness made the elderly Chicks Alien even more uneasy. Betkas suddenly spoke. "A piece of trash with a battle power of only five will always be trash. Did you forget that I'm not the only invader on this planet? I'll tell you this: there's another guy as strong as me. He's my big brother... Heh heh. I wonder if this planet will still be standing after you make him angry!"

The elderly Chicks Alien's expression changed drastically at those words. He seemed to struggle, but Betkas raised his enormous foot and stomped down hard. A spray of blood followed—and then there was silence.

At the same time, Betkas immediately fired a Ki Blast from his mouth at the Artificial Moon he had created in the sky, destroying it. In that same instant, his Great Ape form began to shrink, and he returned to the appearance of a little Saiyan boy. But after losing so much blood, his face was pale. Weak and powerless, he lay flat on the ground.
