As expected, Ken Sudō didn't come to class the next day. It seemed he was following the order to stay confined.
Horikita Suzune felt relieved. If he acted up again, she really wouldn't be able to protect him.
The afternoon classes finally ended. Horikita Suzune planned to go to the dorm and bring Sudō over so he could hear the final verdict at the hearing.
Though she didn't want to admit it, Horikita Suzune thought Amasawa Yuto did have the air of authority befitting a Vice President.
He reminded her a little of her brother. No wonder her brother thought highly of him.
As soon as she stepped outside, Horikita Suzune ran into Ryuen.
"Yo, Suzune. Going to the hearing?" Ryuen had his hands in his pockets. It seemed he'd been waiting for Horikita for a while. "I didn't go yesterday, so sorry for the trouble, but show me the way."
"Have Ishizaki from your class take you. I'm going to bring Sudō over," Horikita Suzune said coldly. "You, on the other hand, can't wait to hear the news of your defeat in person, can you?"
"Don't put it like that, Suzune. Why bother bringing Sudō? The result will be the same whether he's there or not." Ryuen looked as if victory were already his. "It'd be rude to keep the Vice President waiting."
Horikita Suzune sensed something was off.
Very off. Had Ryuen found some new evidence?
Impossible. Class C was behind it all. There was no way Ryuen could fabricate evidence, was there?
"Don't be so on guard, Suzune. I don't have any new evidence. I'm
