"All right, now that I understand what's going on, I won't keep you any longer."
Nan Feng took one last sip of tea and stood up.
"I'll take my leave."
"Wait." Qian Renxue called out to Nan Feng.
"What did you mean by what you said just now?"
"What did I say?" Nan Feng asked.
"'A cliff stands firm against a thousand blades; with no desires, one can remain unyielding.'" Qian Renxue said.
"Were you hinting at something?"
"Hinting?" Nan Feng raised an eyebrow.

Qian Renxue's expression darkened. "You have no idea why we're doing this!"
"I'm all ears." Nan Feng sat down and deftly brewed another pot of tea.
The corner of Qian Renxue's eye twitched. "Has anyone ever told you that you're shameless?"
"I don't know. Maybe, but no one's dared say it to my face." Nan Feng replied.
"Because they know insulting me comes at a price."
"Even if everything they say about me is true, that won't stop me from killing them."
"..." Qian Renxue.
"Don't you claim to stand with the people?"
Nan Feng raised an eyebrow. "The people? Who told you that? When have I ever said that?"
"Little girl, get this straight. I was never on their side to begin with, and I'm not doing this for the people. Everything I do is simply because I want to, because I feel like it, because I'm curious."
"I'm curious about what I can accomplish. I'm curious to see what this world will look like once it's been sped up.
