Song Qingshu wore a strange expression. "Aren't you afraid Linghu Chong will get there first and win her heart?"
Lin Pingzhi replied, "If Lingshan loves me, she naturally won't fall for someone else. If she really does fall for someone else, it proves she isn't worth my attachment. What would there be to regret?"
Song Qingshu laughed heartily. "You really do see things clearly."
The two continued talking for a while. Lin Pingzhi explained the current changes in Sichuan's official circles: who had become one of their own, who followed Shen Xiaolong's lead, who was controlled by the Yang Family, and so on.
"That Yang Family madam is carrying Yang Juyuan's posthumous child.
