Interesting Affairs Outside the Canyon

In the blink of an eye, another month had passed!

Seated cross-legged on the Mind-Clearing Spirit Jade Bed, Cheng Buzheng drew in a breath and absorbed every trace of spiritual energy that had just welled up from the Spirit Vein node.

"I wonder what they want with me?"

Various possibilities flashed through his mind, but none seemed likely.

Cheng Buzheng rose to his feet, tidied up the Secret Chamber, then left his Cave Mansion.

A streak of light shot out from his back!

Little Roar, who had been hiding there for ages, let out an excited roar.

The roar echoed through the Canyon.

Affectionately, Little Roar rubbed its hard scales against Cheng Buzheng!

If an ordinary person had been on the receiving end, it would have scraped off a layer of skin.

"Alright, stop acting spoiled!"

Cheng Buzheng patted its head.

But Little Roar kept on shamelessly begging for attention.

At the sight of this.

Cheng Buzheng knew that this was Little Roar's particular way of asking for food.

After all, he had raised Little Roar himself. From the moment it had hatched until now, he knew its temperament and preferences inside out.

A jade bottle appeared in his hand. He poured out a Bipolar Pill, then held it out to Little Roar in his open palm.

At the sight of the familiar Spirit Pill, a humanlike delight flashed in its beastly eyes. Its pink tongue flicked out, and it swallowed the pill.
