The group of five sat cross-legged in different positions throughout the canyon.
Some sat atop sheer cliffs, some on massive boulders, while others sat directly on the ground. Without exception, each kept a great distance from the others.

Just then, upon the endlessly cascading waterfall within the canyon, a pale-white point of light silently appeared!

All of a sudden, the figure seated upon the boulder before the waterfall abruptly opened his eyes. His gaze passed through the black gauze hanging from his conical hat and fixed upon that pale-white point of light that had appeared out of nowhere.
Then, Cheng Buzheng rose to his feet and gazed toward the waterfall before him, his eyes locked tightly on that pale-white point of light.
"Everyone, the opportunity has arrived!"
Though his voice was indifferent, it filled the entire canyon.
As he spoke, a trace of mockery flashed through Cheng Buzheng's eyes beneath the black gauze, vanishing in an instant!
