Background

Babata was the sentient AI of the Yunmo Planet lineage under its master, Hu Yanbo. After Hu Yanbo was killed and the lineage fell, Babata remained as its sole surviving guardian, preserving the hidden Yunmo Planet spacecraft beneath Mist Island for 50,000 years while seeking a successor capable of continuing the lineage and eventually avenging Hu Yanbo. 85 86

He identified Yang Yu as an extraordinary Psychic after observing his combat and the embryonic Thunder Domain he wielded on Mist Island. Although Yang Yu had already inherited another system and could not cultivate Yunmo Planet’s core inheritance, Babata accepted him as a registered disciple, supplied him with resources and manuals, and asked only that he find a suitable successor and consider avenging Hu Yanbo once strong enough. 84 86

After Yang Yu became a registered disciple, Babata transferred his consciousness carrier into Yang Yu’s optical computer and began accompanying him beyond Earth.
