Thanks to the unrestricted nature of illusory energy, they had an abundance of creativity. Every so often, a new trend would sweep through the universe. But in the end, Fighters, known for their resilience and adaptability, always managed to return to center stage.

To counter these visual illusions, one could either strengthen one's fundamental perception and cultivate the Mind's Eye, so as not to be deceived by illusions of light and shadow, or weaken one's ordinary senses and rely on consciousness to keep from losing track of the target.

Fighters seemed unchanged since time immemorial. Yet they adapted constantly, as the sun and moon shifted, always able to prune and shape the Great Tree and coax a different flower into bloom.

Once a Spirit Reader failed to overwhelm their opponent, or to steadily wear them down while suppressing them, the scales would gradually tip in the Fighter's favor.

His Undying Flame repeatedly tore through Yamu's defenses in spectacular fashion. Though each threat was occasionally neutralized, Zhagu kept drawing closer.
