The leading Crystal Race Venerable said nothing. A brilliant golden light, like ribbons of silk, appeared and instantly filled the space. Each strand was supple, yet could easily slice through the mightiest neutron star. Once spread out, the light flowed toward the second Star Lord. As it passed him, the golden blades of light gained streaks of razor-sharp law-light. By the time they swept past the third Star Lord, they had become platinum blades so bright that a single glance made one's eyes ache.

The blades of light had been condensed to the extreme, and their killing power had increased nearly tenfold. The entire domain had suddenly become much harder to deal with.

This was the Crystal Race.

They excelled at joining forces. Each of them was relatively weak alone, but when they fought together, their strength rose by a whole tier. The Zicui Star Lords, fighting as one, could truly contend with a Universe Overlord. Usually, when people spoke of contending with an opponent, it was because they had the numbers; they were often easily picked off one by one. But among the Crystal Race and the Machine Race, it defied common sense for them to be separated. The difference was that the Machine Race fought in a uniform manner when gathered in groups, while the Crystal Race could each fight independently and still cooperate to the fullest.
