Ch. 517Avatar of Guqiong

Guen learned that the Guqiong God General Inheritance eventually turns its inheritors into Soul Slaves, making him wary of pursuing it. He studied the Guqiong Secret Realm’s rules and resources, leaving the story with him weighing the realm’s benefits and costs.

  • Hilary told Guen that inheritors who mastered the Guqiong God General Inheritance would become the God General’s Soul Slaves after their period of freedom ended.
  • Hilary explained that many lifeforms accepted the risk for power, and described rumors about an Inheritance Treasure that preserved inheritors’ souls.
  • Hilary warned Guen not to offend the secret realm’s administrators and urged him to learn the Avatar Secret Method before pointing him to a stone tablet.
  • Guen read the tablet and learned that avatars could remain in the secret realm indefinitely, explore its resources, and exchange information with lifeforms from across the universe.
  • Guen saw records showing that billions of World Lords had reached the realm but only millions became Immortals, and learned that collected resources were exchanged for Shenguang Coins.

Ch. 518Shenguang Coins

Guen explored the Guqiong Secret Realm’s Shenguang Coin economy and Trading Pillar, exchanging treasures for coins and searching for rare resources. He learned that his spending had raised his God Race title to level eleven, granting him new privileges and access to limited resource zones.

  • Guen entered an unoccupied personal space and used its Trading Pillar to review listings, contact rules, resource zones, and cultivation resources.
  • Guen exchanged Immortal God treasures from the Pantheon for one billion Shenguang Coins, paying a thirty-million-coin transaction fee.
  • Guen contacted holders of rare resources while cultivating his Guqiong Avatar secret technique and planning how to preserve Ice Lake Island’s ability to nurture Chenning God Stones and the Bingjiao Clan.
  • Guen checked his Trading Pillar identifier and learned that his coin spending had earned him a level-eleven God Race title and its associated privileges.

Ch. 519Zihou Illusion-Shattering Epiphyllum

Guen bought development rights to a resource zone in the Guqiong Secret Realm so he could gather Zihou Illusion-Shattering Epiphyllum for Kelehe’s nest. He left the Shenguang Palace aboard a Pure-Blood God Race spaceship, bound for the resource zone.

  • Guen used the trading pillar to buy resources for the Flame Star Behemoth’s Nine Realms Fire and decided to purchase rights to resource zone 198.
  • Kelehe told Guen she needed thirty-five grams of Zihou Illusion-Shattering Epiphyllum to advance her Yellow Meditation Profound Light Broodmother Nest.
  • Guen agreed that Kelehe’s nest could weaken enemies’ soul defenses and said he did not mind losing the Zerg Warriors’ poison gas ability.
  • Guen calculated that he would need to gather 105 grams to retain thirty-five grams after the Pure-Blood God Race took its share.
  • Guen spent one hundred million Shenguang Coins on the gathering rights, raising his title level to 13, then boarded a spaceship to the resource zone.

Ch. 520Energy Supply Network

Guen watched the Zihou Illusion-Shattering Epiphyllum bloom, then oversaw the installation of Ice Lake Island as a resource point in his Internal World. The network gave him a glimpse of the cultivation path ahead, but it also created a major demand for energy and ongoing maintenance.

  • Guen waited for the Zihou Illusion-Shattering Epiphyllum to bloom and decided to try fusing with Xueluo Crystals again after leaving the Guqiong Secret Realm.
  • Moto told Guen that Ice Lake Island's fusion was nearly complete, and Guen inspected the growing settlement, three Zerg nests, and workers preparing the island.
  • At Moto's signal, Jie placed six Three-Tailed Qilin Turtle Pearls at the prepared nodes and activated the resource network.
  • After ten hours, Ice Lake Island was fully installed, drawing more than 3% of the energy in Guen's Internal World and giving Guen a clearer glimpse of the connections between laws, energy, life, and Cosmic Rules.
  • Guen decided to recruit some of the Mona Race and Bingjiao Clan to maintain the network, while Moto reported that the Universe Crystal reserves would last for 1,780 eras.

Ch. 521The Limu Purple Wood

Guen left the Guqiong Secret Realm and headed toward the Flame Domain Starry Sky, where he hoped to find a vital treasure, but a trade-fair invitation drew him to Shengqi Star. There he learned that its Cangtian Tree was a branch of the legendary Limu Purple Wood, though the true tree’s location remained unknown.

  • Guen reviewed the progress of the beings and resources in his Internal World as he traveled away from the Guqiong Secret Realm.
  • Guen studied the Flame Domain Starry Sky and prepared for the dangers of its powerful, allied regions.
  • A message from Shengqi Star reached Guen, and he used the jade tablet to confirm an invitation to a trade fair before deciding to attend.
  • At the trade fair on Shengqi Star, Guen learned from a Wabo Race Immortal that the Cangtian Tree was a branch of the Limu Purple Wood.
  • Guen considered the Limu Purple Wood and the other extraordinary trees, but its rumored home on Shihua Island had no known location.

Ch. 522The Mystery Tide Bug

Guen attended an alien trade fair at Shengqi Star, where the Seven Fengwang opened the palace and immortals exchanged rare treasures. The fair continued as a golden Metal Lifeform offered Mystery Tide Bugs and other items for specialized treasures.

  • Immortals gathered at the Cangtian Tree, and the Seven Fengwang opened the palace after all seven King-Level Immortals arrived.
  • Golden Lion King began the trading with a Key Marrow Gold Amber Stone and exchanged it for Filthy Dragon Water from a frog-like King-Level Immortal.
  • A green jelly King-Level Immortal offered the Heavenly Evil Gold Halberd in search of defensive treasures.
  • Guen traded away materials he did not need and acquired cultivation materials for Nine Realms Fire.
  • A golden Metal Lifeform offered Special Lifeform remains, 1,148 Peak World Lord Mystery Tide Bugs, and a Yueqing Flower in exchange for flight, binding, sealing, or Telekinetic Power-related treasures.

Ch. 523Ultimate Flame Void Gold

At a barter fair, Guen examined a Mystery Tide Bug and Yueqing Flowers while a Metal Lifeform sought specific treasures in exchange for the bug. A Three-Tailed One-Eyed Lifeform offered valuable Ultimate Flame Void Gold for it, but a Fengwang's unexpected offer of a Quliu Flying Shuttle left the exchange unresolved.

  • Guen considered the Mystery Tide Bug's dependence on the Ming Insect Race and found the Yueqing Flower more interesting.
  • Several Immortals offered the Metal Lifeform weapons and Biological Spaceships, but it rejected them for failing to meet its requirements.
  • The Three-Tailed One-Eyed Lifeform offered Ultimate Flame Void Gold for the Mystery Tide Bug, but the Metal Lifeform insisted on flying, binding, suppressing, and telekinetic treasures and weapons.
  • The Three-Tailed One-Eyed Lifeform said it would trade the gold only for a Mystery Tide Bug, then offered it for the treasures the Metal Lifeform wanted.
  • A snowflake-like Fengwang presented a Quliu Flying Shuttle and requested illusion-type or soul-type materials, disappointing the Three-Tailed One-Eyed Lifeform.

Ch. 524Yueqing Flower and the Precious Treasure Formula

Guen traded Nightmare Fat Horses and a binding treasure to obtain Yueqing Flowers, breeding techniques, and information about the flowers’ source, hoping to gather enough material for a precious treasure formula. He also acquired numerous Special Lifeform remains at the exchange, including two intact corpses.

  • King Xuejing offered high-tier equipment in exchange for large quantities of materials related to illusion and the soul, and Guen offered Nightmare Fat Horses for a Quliu Flying Shuttle.
  • Guen privately negotiated with King Xuejing for breeding techniques, then traded with the Metal Lifeform for Yueqing Flowers, Special Lifeform materials, and information about the flowers’ origin.
  • Guen explained to the Wabo Race that Yueqing Flowers were valuable spatial materials needed in enormous quantities for a precious treasure formula he had received from Venerable Song Island.
  • The Mystery Tide Bugs remained untraded at the exchange, and the Three-Tailed One-Eyed Lifeform sought a private deal with the Metal Lifeform.
  • Guen offered to trade for Special Lifeform remains and obtained remains of more than thirty kinds, including intact Domain Lord Level and World Lord Level corpses.

Ch. 525Ape-man Slaves

At the trade fair, Guen discovered that the Duoku Race was auctioning young ape-men from several human races as slaves and challenged the Seven Fengwang. He held back from attacking again and confronted them, hoping to provoke King Xiaqi and the other powerful Fengwang into intervening.

  • A Duoku Race member arrived at the platform and released young ape-men from the Kahuns Race, Qinghou Race, and Sifang Nao.
  • The Duoku described the ape-men's abilities, making the undying beings realize he was auctioning human slaves.
  • Guen became furious and charged the platform, but seven chains woven from Origin Laws blocked his attack.
  • Golden Lion King told Guen that the trade fair's rules applied and suggested he leave or take a gentler approach.
  • Guen weighed his chances of rescuing the ape-men and challenged the Seven Fengwang, asking whether they expected him to play along with the farce.

Ch. 526Ambush

Guen provoked the trade fair’s organizers and then used the Thunder Universe Light Pupil and a silver wooden boat to seize the Duoku Race member holding a Human Race slave. Elsewhere, King Xiaqi, King Youren, and King Chongyi were ambushed by six Monster Race Fengwangs, and the chapter ended with the three Human Race kings fleeing after King Xiaqi unleashed a Strongest Fire God Source Crystal.

  • Seven Fengwang refused to let Guen disregard the trade fair’s rules without Venerable Xuefeng’s order, and the Duoku Race member invited everyone except Human Race powerhouses to bid for the slave.
  • A Buqi Shijing offered Chihun Copper Mother for the Human Race slave, and Guen warned it against making the trade.
  • Guen used the Thunder Universe Light Pupil to slow the Duoku Race member, then rammed it with a silver wooden boat and escaped with it as Golden Lion King and two other Fengwangs gave chase.
  • King Xiaqi and King Youren confronted King Chongyi in the Chenghai Star Domain over the transport of Human Race slaves, but six Monster Race Fengwangs emerged from concealment and revealed the trap.
  • King Xiaqi deployed a Strongest Fire God Source Crystal, forcing a hidden Monster Race Fengwang to appear; after the blast, three Human Race kings fled while seven pursuers followed.

Ch. 527Out of the Blue

Gu'en escaped Shengqi Star with the Ape-men captives and discovered that their souls carried a dangerous secret technique. After fleeing the suspicious affair, he revealed his identity to the captives and prepared to learn how they had been enslaved.

  • Gu'en killed the Duoku after discovering an imprint in their soul, then confirmed the rescued Ape-men were genuine and found that a Soul Secret Technique had been planted in each of them.
  • Golden Lion King refused to pursue Gu'en, and the three Fengwang returned to Shengqi Star while a hidden Monster Race figure wondered whether King Chongyi possessed a certain item.
  • Gu'en took the Void Travel Boat through the Dark Universe toward the Flame Domain Starry Sky, choosing to leave the mystery on Shengqi Star behind.
  • Gu'en revealed himself to the Ape-men, and a Kahuns Domain Lord recognized him as the winner of the first Universe Genius Tournament.
  • Gu'en told the Ape-men they could talk about the tournament later and asked them to explain what had happened to them.

Ch. 528The Demand

Guen removed the Alien Race’s soul restrictions from several thousand captured Ape-men, then confronted Domain Lords who demanded to know when he would return them to the Human Territory. He left the Ape-men free to depart or stay, but insisted that anyone who stayed follow his arrangements.

  • A Sifang Nao Domain Lord told Guen that the Ape-men had been ambushed after following Holy Temple orders and suspected a Temple official had betrayed them.
  • Guen agreed to remove the soul restrictions, and the Sifang Nao let him demonstrate by opening his soul first.
  • Guen shattered the restriction on the Sifang Nao, then spent half a day removing the restrictions from all the captured Ape-men.
  • Several Domain Lords asked when Guen would return them to the Human Territory, and Guen dismissed their concerns about the Ape-man Temple.
  • When the Domain Lords accused Guen of holding a grudge against the Temple, he crushed them with his power and ordered the Ape-men to leave or follow his arrangements.

Ch. 529The Hidden Threat to the Ape-man Temple

Guen gathered Ape-men willing to follow him and confronted the World Lords who invoked the Holy Temple’s authority against him. He left Kelehe and her Zerg forces to guard the others while taking Wumeng aside to hear about Zuirong.

  • Kahuns, the Qinghou Race, and the Sifang Nao volunteered to follow Guen, while many others stayed behind.
  • Several World Lords accused Guen of violating the Holy Temple’s ban, and Guen mocked their shifting claims about whether he counted as an Ape-man.
  • Wumeng condemned the Holy Temple for unfairly distributing resources and described how its policies had weakened unique Ape-man bloodlines.
  • Guen asked Wumeng about Zuirong, then summoned Kelehe and ordered her to guard the Ape-men without harming them unless they acted recklessly.
  • Guen and Wumeng disappeared together, while the Ape-man World Lords recognized Guen’s strength and five of them distanced themselves from the three who had antagonized him.

Ch. 530Borderland Turmoil

Aboard the Void Travel Boat, Guen agreed to let Wumeng follow him for a time and discussed the dangers facing Zuirong. In the Yaohai Star Sector, humanity and its allies sprang a devastating trap on the Ghost Tomb Race, while Lord of Ghosts and Lord of Tombs watched from their territory.

  • Wumeng told Guen he wanted to follow him until he was ready to pursue his own ambitions, and Guen agreed to help train him.
  • Wumeng worried that Zuirong faced criticism and danger for trying to reform the Ape-man Temple, and Guen said those responsible for killing Zuirong's Guard Army commander would eventually pay.
  • Guen gave Wumeng a Smart Computer and sent him back to the World Ring to rest, while keeping him out of his Internal World.
  • Humanity and its allies used concealed weapons of war to ambush the Ghost Tomb Race at the Yaohai Star Sector, annihilating most of its forces inside the Nine-Color Barrier.
  • Lord of Ghosts and Lord of Tombs sensed the attack, acknowledged that the alliance had struck early, and then fell silent.

Ch. 531Qianli Inverted Cloud

Guen entered the Baohu Secret Realm to train his companions while gathering materials and preparing for a rare clone opportunity in the Flame Domain Starry Sky. As Jie and the Flame Star Behemoth approached a strange cloud formation, Guen warned them that a lifeform was using it.

  • Guen chose the Baohu Secret Realm as a relatively safe place for Leisi, Wumeng, and the others to train, while the ape-men accepted staying in his World Ring.
  • Guen told Moto that he was collecting Special Lifeform materials and preparing to compete for a clone opportunity expected to appear in the Flame Domain Starry Sky.
  • After entering the Baohu Secret Realm, Guen sent his companions out to explore and fight while he piloted the Void Travel Boat and forged weapons.
  • Leisi and Wumeng returned to recover from injuries, while Shimang stayed near Guen and sent Zerg Warriors to gather resources.
  • Jie and the Flame Star Behemoth approached Qianli Inverted Cloud, but Guen arrived and warned them that a lifeform was using it.

Ch. 532The BaQiuNi

Guen encountered five weakened Metal Lifeforms after a Qianli Inverted Cloud shattered, and learned that they had pursued a BaQiuNi into a dangerous place. Eager to find the rare creature, he agreed to consider helping them suppress a strange seed, though its origin remained unclear.

  • Guen and the Flame Star Behemoth recognized the green cloud as a Qianli Inverted Cloud and retreated while Shimang prepared three hundred thousand Zerg King Warriors to attack if needed.
  • The Qianli Inverted Cloud shattered, revealing five weak Metal Lifeforms whose divine bodies were being damaged by dark-green plants.
  • Guen approached the Metal Lifeforms, and one recognized him from the Shengqi Star trade fair.
  • A Metal Lifeform offered to tell Guen about a BaQiuNi and recreated its strange appearance and abilities from memory.
  • Guen asked what the Metal Lifeforms wanted in exchange, and they asked him to suppress a strange seed that had afflicted them in a dangerous place while they pursued the BaQiuNi.

Ch. 533The Yuhe Clan

Guen used the Flame Star Behemoth's Nine Realms Fire to remove the strange plant seeds from the Metal Lifeforms, then examined the navigation tools Abimu gave him. Abimu revealed that the Yuhe Clan had made them and pointed Guen toward their settlement, one of the Baohu Secret Realm's few safe places.

  • Guen summoned the Flame Star Behemoth and warned the Metal Lifeforms to accept treatment or leave.
  • Abimu volunteered first, and the Flame Star Behemoth used Nine Realms Fire to burn away the seeds without harming him.
  • Guen had the Flame Star Behemoth treat the other Metal Lifeforms, then returned with Shimang after briefly putting the beast away.
  • Abimu gave Guen an Inverted Cloud Token and a disc that mapped the Baohu Secret Realm and pinpointed the user's location.
  • Abimu told Guen that the Yuhe Clan made the items and that their settlement was nearby, then explained he had befriended one of their members and received three tokens.

Ch. 534Cultivation and Prospects

Guen learned that the Yuhe Clan lived in the Baohu Secret Realm and agreed to join Abimu and the other Metal Lifeforms in pursuing BaQiuNi. As the Inverted Cloud carried them toward Denge Forest, Guen explained to Jie why pursuing power sometimes required taking risks, then led the group into the clouds.

  • Guen recognized that old Virtual Universe records about the Yuhe Clan in the Baohu Secret Realm were partly true and learned that Abimu's group had been chasing BaQiuNi from Denge Forest toward Nailue Fjord.
  • Jie warned Guen that the Metal Lifeforms were suspicious, but Guen defended the decision to pursue BaQiuNi because rare opportunities required risking danger.
  • Guen explained to Jie that enemies of equal strength had to be given a chance to strike, and encouraged him to develop the judgment to handle important tasks independently.
  • Abimu activated the Inverted Cloud Token and summoned a cloud of lightning-spitting cranes.
  • Guen piloted the Void Travel Boat into the clouds, and Abimu and the other Metal Lifeforms followed.

Ch. 535Nailue Fjord

Guen and five Metal Lifeforms became stranded at the edge of Nailue Fjord after an artificial Inverted Cloud sent them far from their intended destination. As Guen cautiously piloted toward the exit, a time storm trapped the Void Travel Boat, and Twilight Thunder descended toward it.

  • Guen discovered that the artificial Inverted Cloud had brought them to Nailue Fjord, and Abimu explained that its destination had a margin of error.
  • Guen gave up the pursuit of BaQiuNi and set out slowly for the fjord's exit, warning the others about the dangers of its extreme temporal currents and Twilight Thunder.
  • Guen spotted enormous Time Crystal Ore along the mountain walls but avoided approaching the dangerous deposits.
  • An invisible storm swept through the fjord and battered the Void Travel Boat, forcing Guen to move Abimu and the other Metal Lifeforms into the cabin.
  • A dark neon-colored bolt of Twilight Thunder fell toward the boat as it struggled against the storm and could not dodge.

Ch. 536Time Storm

Guen led the five Metal Lifeforms through Nailue Fjord’s time storm aboard the Void Travel Boat, using the Gaizhou Cube to survive the worst of the turbulence. After six days, they escaped the fjord, but most of the Metal Lifeforms were badly injured and unable to fight as the pursuit of BaQiuNi remained unresolved.

  • Guen used the Gaizhou Cube’s lightning and the Metal Lifeforms’ Immortal Power to drive the Void Travel Boat through Nailue Fjord’s time storm.
  • Guen conserved his energy and guided the boat through an extreme time-dilation zone, where the storm damaged the boat and left the Metal Lifeforms suffering from time illusions.
  • Guen inspected the Void Travel Boat, judged its damage repairable, and continued toward the fjord’s exit while avoiding areas of extreme time dilation.
  • After six days, Guen led the group out of Nailue Fjord, where three Metal Lifeforms were seriously wounded and their combat strength had fallen below forty percent.
  • Abimu said he was relieved they had not encountered BaQiuNi and recognized that Nailue Fjord had nearly killed them.
