I got up at noon today and suddenly received a message from my editor: the book would go on sale at midnight tonight.
Uh... it was really sudden.
I'd thought I'd have to wait until I passed 150,000 words and dropped off the new-book rankings before it could go on sale.
Since there weren't any more recommendations lined up, and the book's current follow count was high enough, it was going on sale at just 110,000 words.
Guess I'm going in with no recommendations.
I don't know whether launching this early is a good thing or a bad thing.
Well, what's done is done. I won't say much more—thanks for everyone's support, and thanks to my editor, Qing Hu, for reaching out and giving me a hand.
Now that it's on sale, I need to get ready to update. For the next three days, I'll post five chapters a day, starting after noon.
Anything more will depend on how fast I can write.
I feel a little awkward asking for first subscriptions and monthly passes and all that.
It really is going on sale too early. I haven't even reached three thousand followers. I can only hope everyone will show their support and subscribe to the first chapter.
