"Achoo..." Su Ye sneezed and rubbed his nose.

"Who's thinking about me?" Su Ye glanced at Lilith and Istar behind him.

Lilith smiled. "God Emperor, I've always been thinking about you."

Istar curled her lip, disdainful of that vixen Lilith. Though she was also loyal to Su Ye, her personality was completely different from Lilith's.

Lilith was seductive to her very bones, while Istar had more of a warrior's straightforward temperament. Istar could never say things as effortlessly as Lilith did; at most, she would only think them in her heart.

Hearing Lilith's words, Su Ye looked at the stern-faced Istar and deliberately asked with a smile, "Istar, don't you miss me?"

With a mischievous look, Lilith joined Su Ye in teasing Istar. "That's right, God Emperor. It seems Istar doesn't miss you very much."

Istar's face flushed with anger. She opened her cherry lips to say something, but she was too embarrassed to get the words out.

"Alright, stop teasing Istar," Su Ye said with a smile.

He was genuinely afraid that if they pushed Istar too far, she would draw the Blade of Primal Darkness and slash at Lilith.

"God Emperor..." Istar looked at Su Ye, her face rosy, her voice carrying a trace of grievance and urgency.

"Alright, I understand. I was only teasing you. Let's go," Su Ye said to Lilith and Istar.

Only then did Istar nod heavily. She then glared viciously at Lilith, who merely swayed her graceful figure over to Su Ye's side, provocatively wrapped herself around his arm, and shot Istar a glance.

Looking at Su Ye's arm buried in Lilith's snow-white mountains, then at her own steel breastplate, Istar wanted nothing more than to slice Lilith apart.

Lilith and Istar stood behind Su Ye.

Five Troop Recruitment Refresh Cards appeared in Su Ye's hand.

"Use them. Recruit!" Su Ye said.

Black-red light and pure black light rose up.

This repeated five times in total.

Lilith and Istar watched the Original Sin Fallen Angels and Pureblood Fallen Angels appear in the hall, a gleam flashing in their eyes.

One hundred and fifty Fallen Angel troops had been recruited.

The only regret was that no new Hero Units had been recruited. Of those one hundred and fifty Fallen Angel troops, half were Original Sin Fallen Angels, while the other half were Pureblood Fallen Angels.

As for the Original Sin Fallen Angels, they were divided into seven branches—the Seven Deadly Sins Fallen Angels. However, they were all under Lilith's command.

Unless Hero Units from each of those seven branches were recruited one day, perhaps then one branch would become independent and form its own legion.

For example, the Pride Fallen Angel Legion!

For now, the Original Sin Fallen Angels had not been further divided.

"We greet the God Emperor!!!" The one hundred and fifty Original Sin Fallen Angels knelt on one knee before Su Ye in unison.

The hall of the Fallen Heaven Sanctuary was enormous. Its interior was practically a separate space and did not count toward the territory's area, so let alone one hundred and fifty, it could even accommodate one thousand five hundred units.

"Rise. They will be your commanders from now on. Lilith, Istar, I'll leave them to you," Su Ye said.

Lilith and Istar nodded.

Su Ye could not possibly get to know every Original Sin Fallen Angel and Pureblood Fallen Angel one by one, nor could he specifically arrange what each of them should and should not do.

Lilith and Istar would have to handle all of that.

There would be plenty of opportunities within the territory anyway.

As for why he had used all five Troop Recruitment Refresh Cards on the Fallen Heaven Sanctuary rather than the Supreme Protocol, the reason was simple.

The Fallen Heaven Sanctuary could recruit ten more units.

Su Ye had also told Thalys about this. Even if he had not, Thalys would not have said anything, but he still needed to mention it so as not to seem biased.

At the very least, he had to treat them fairly.

Ten more units meant ten more God-Level troops. This was not as simple as adding ten and subtracting ten.

Su Ye currently had the following troops: Fallen Angels: 200, Gene Praetorians: 20!

In two days, he had only two hundred and twenty troop units. That could only be described as pitifully few. For other more ordinary lords, their troop count would have already exceeded five hundred by now.

That was only because Su Ye had used five Troop Recruitment Refresh Cards. Without them, he would only have seventy troop units now.

He only had 34,880 Gold Coins left.

"Far too few. I still need to get more Troop Recruitment Refresh Cards during the novice period. Otherwise, once the novice period ends, recruiting one unit for one million Gold Coins... I really won't be able to afford it." Su Ye looked at the two God-Level Barracks, the Fallen Heaven Sanctuary and the Supreme Protocol.

Without the Novice Buff discount, Su Ye could not afford to recruit even a single troop unit.

Money was not a problem for Su Ye. Every day, he could obtain large amounts of Gold Coins and Origin Crystals from the Void Trial, and as time passed, he would only get more.

Tomorrow, Su Ye would find out whether Lilith and the others could handle Bronze-ranked creatures. There should not be any problem, but it would still depend on the time and efficiency.

The rating treasure chests were the top priority. Only with high ratings could Su Ye open so many good things.

He could not simply assume Lilith and the others could deal with Bronze-ranked creatures and blindly raise the Lord's Heart rank. That would not serve Su Ye's interests, nor would it maximize the benefits of the once-daily Void Trial.

Passing a Void Trial and passing it with a perfect rating were two entirely different concepts, and the resources obtained were worlds apart. Su Ye had to ensure that he received an SSS-rated Void Trial every day. That was the key.

If Lilith and the others could pass it, but only by sacrificing the rating treasure chest's grade, then Su Ye would rather take things slowly and not rush to level up.

The Void Trial rating treasure chests only existed during the novice period. There would be none after it ended. He only had this one chance, and every single day was precious.

That was also why some Novice Lords took desperate risks and chose high-difficulty Void Trials.

Ignoring the rating treasure chest grade and blindly raising the Lord's Heart was not worth it for Su Ye. He could level up anytime, but the rating treasure chests only existed for the thirty days of the novice period.

That was why Su Ye was so cautious about raising the Lord's Heart. Every time he raised it by one level, he hesitated, afraid both that Lilith and the others would not be strong enough and that the final rating treasure chest would be affected.

There were many factors involved. It was not simply that Su Ye did not want to level up. In his current state, he could steadily obtain an SSS-rated Void Trial treasure chest every day. Wasn't that great?
