As time passed, Su Ye took an afternoon nap, stretched lazily, and rose from the ground.

He then opened the Lord's Heart panel.

"Upgrade!" Su Ye chose to upgrade without hesitation. The diamond-shaped mark on his wrist bloomed with light, and a warm current flowed through his entire body.

"Choose." Su Ye's voice rang out.

Two red traits and one gold trait appeared before him.

"Two red and one gold." Su Ye looked at the traits floating before him and began examining them one by one.

Age of Dharma Decline: Red territory trait. No Transcendent power will exist within your territory, turning it into a forbidden zone for the Transcendent. All Transcendent objects will be completely annihilated!

"Uh..." Su Ye stared at this red trait and froze.

No Transcendent powers could exist, and all Transcendent objects would be annihilated. Put simply, after the founding of the nation, no one was allowed to become a spirit; only Technology Side troops could be developed.

This was completely unacceptable to Su Ye. The main reason this trait could be rated red was that all Transcendent objects would be annihilated.

That meant whether they were Transcendent objects within Su Ye's territory or Transcendent objects from outside, they would all be annihilated. Even gods would perish here.

That was what made this trait so damn powerful—it cut off the existence of everything Transcendent.

Even gods would completely fall here because of this trait.

"Powerful as it is, it doesn't suit me." Su Ye shook his head at the trait. It did not suit him; among his troops, only the Gene Praetorian belonged to the Technology Side.

Yet even so, the Gene Praetorian possessed Transcendent factors, so it was fundamentally unsuitable for him.

Su Ye looked at the next red trait.

Infinite Evolution: Red troop trait. Your troops will break through their potential limits and grow without limit. How far they can grow will be entirely up to you!!

"Breaking the potential limit?" Su Ye looked at the troops under his command. After choosing this trait, his troops would no longer have a clear marker known as a potential limit.

In other words, how far his troops could go would depend on themselves—or rather, on how Su Ye developed his territory.

"In that case, this doesn't seem bad." Su Ye looked at the trait, then turned to the final gold trait.

Mechanical Ascension: Gold troop trait! Your troops will transform into Technology Side troops. Technology research speed increased by 100%, technology production speed increased by 1000%. Flesh is weak; machinery ascends!!!!

"Looks like there's no choice." Su Ye looked at the three traits before him. The first and third both had obvious problems.

The second red trait was clearly the best one.

Although it offered no obvious boosts or enhancements on the surface, the value it brought was immeasurable. At the very least, it broke through the fixed upper limit of troop potential.

His troops would no longer have potential limits. This would also work perfectly with the Tower of Eternity he had just obtained, allowing him to bring out the full potential of his troops.

"Pangilia, why aren't you playing with the others?" Su Ye asked Pangilia curiously.

"God King, I do not wish to go. I would rather stay by the God King's side." Pangilia opened her dragon eyes, her brilliant golden pupils filled with incomparable loyalty.

Su Ye smiled and stroked Pangilia's head.

It felt cool and smooth to the touch.

"Let's go. Time for a banquet." Su Ye saw that the sky was gradually darkening. The Tower of Eternity was hidden within the space of Su Ye's territory.

It would generally not manifest within Su Ye's territory unless he wanted it to. Otherwise, it would not appear.

Over at the Wine Pool and Meat Forest.

Bronze Rank wine and food, along with Black Iron Grade wine and food, were supplied without limit.

In Su Ye's view, the Wine Pool and Meat Forest Wonder had solved one of the biggest problems lords faced: food.

As the number of troops increased, the demand for food would also increase. Su Ye's troops needed food as well, at least in the early stages.

Things were manageable at first, but once he had tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of troops, their daily consumption would require enormous quantities of food.

Su Ye held a bottle of Black Iron Grade vodka, which could permanently improve one's physique when consumed over a long period. Lilith and Keisha followed at his side.

"Combat Power Gift Pack?" Su Ye looked into his Private Storage Space. A gift pack lay quietly inside.
