Su Ye took a deep breath and sorted through the tangled mess of thoughts in his head.

First question: when did this begin? Was it happening now, or in the future? Or had Fei Kingdom fallen long ago? Su Ye could not help thinking.

Second, why had no one in the Main World discovered it? Several Taboo beings had acted. Who was behind them, and where had they invaded the Main World from?

Lastly, and most importantly, that Taboo struggled in its eyes. That meant it had not been completely controlled, but it no longer had the ability to resist. Only a sliver of consciousness remained. Su Ye felt his scalp tingle.

Sure enough, the end of the era was here. All sorts of monsters and freaks were crawling out.

No, what the hell am I supposed to do about this? Su Ye felt a trace of anxiety. A Taboo had gone wrong, yet no one in the Main World had noticed. That was the most terrifying part.

Su Ye had thought his ability to accept shocking news had risen considerably, but now he felt that he had still underestimated the Main World's mess.

Every last one of them was running some goddamn amateur operation.

This was utterly ridiculous. They were practically inhuman.

Wait. If something happened to Fei Kingdom and the Main World did not notice, then there is only one possibility: they did not invade the Main World from outside. They came from the front lines. Only then could the Main World have failed to notice anything. If the front lines had fallen and they returned to the Main World through them, that would explain why no one noticed. Su Ye thought of a possibility.

That was the only possibility.
