What about the seal?
Where the fuck was your seal? He got out, and you didn't even fucking know! What exactly did you seal? Say something!
That Taboo's expression was grim as well. The seal had indeed been left by them, but they had sensed nothing when it broke.
That was the most absurd part. Logically speaking, if this Taboo escaped the seal they had placed, they should definitely have sensed it.
Yet they had sensed nothing. Either someone had helped this Taboo escape, or his strength had surpassed theirs!
Neither possibility was good news. Both meant even greater trouble. The former meant there was an enemy in the Island Country who was at least a Taboo.
The latter meant this polluted Taboo was advancing toward an even higher level.
First, there was a misconception that needed clearing up: Outer Gods were not mindless. They were rational beings, too. It was simply that lower-dimensional creatures could not comprehend their existence.
Moreover, they were sources of Pollution themselves. Their very existence could pollute everything.
So it was possible to communicate with Outer Gods.
This Outer God covered in tentacles was one such being.
The Outer God was curiously examining the fellow being beside it—or, more accurately, half of a fellow being. This being had a human torso, but his entire lower body consisted of writhing, intertwined tentacles.
Strange colors bloomed across his body, somewhat resembling the radiance of the Astral Outer God. Countless cracks also covered him.
Within those cracks, strange colors emerged.
He simultaneously exuded madness and reason. Strange. Very strange. It was the first time this Outer God had seen a being like this.
"Fujiwara Kakuichi!!" One of the Island Country's Taboos looked at
